Welcome …. and congratulations on your desire to live a life beyond the ordinary!
Working within the community over the years, we found American Muslims dealing with a myriad of issues. We saw some Muslims immersed in the very materialistic obsessions that the larger society has tasted and, to its credit, is trying to recover from. We observed others who were confused about their post- 9/11 identity and way of life. And still others were struggling to reconcile life choices like career moves, marriage, buying a home, elderly parents, family obligations “back home”, community organizations and projects to support etc.. Lost in the midst of these questions was the promise of our generation. A generation that faces great challenges and yet also has great opportunities. The opportunity to build an existence based on spirituality, purpose and accomplishment that leads to the betterment of everyone around us in this world, and to a joyful moment when we meet our Lord (SWT) in the Hereafter.
It also became clear that, in today’s overly busy and (sensory) stimulated existence, Friday sermons and large group speeches (halaqas) go only so far in affecting actual, permanent change in an individual or in a family. So as more and more young, professional Muslims and their families sought our individual counsel on core issues of identity, faith and life choices, they also encouraged us to offer a professional service that is available to others who may not otherwise have access to such a resource. Someone who shares their faith, understands their challenges and has the training and expertise to provide coaching and mentoring solutions to help them overcome and overachieve.
So, we gathered our years of management and training skills and experience with coaching, mentoring and resolving personal and organizational issues and put them together to found The 360 Project, a small for-profit consulting firm. The 360 Muslim is an initiative of The 360 Project LLC that seeks to guide Muslim professionals toward a life of balance, purpose and accomplishment through personal coaching services. In addition, The 360 Muslim strives to help Muslim organizations strengthen their presence, optimize their resources, build congregations and chart their course for the future though the use of corporate tools such as meeting facilitation, strategic planning, mediation and training services. Our approach is based on a range of experiences (including minority & majority, multi-lingual & multicultural, religious & secular, small & large community, etc.) coupled with a variety of training and roles. Our goal is to create pockets of individuals who understand this approach, free of any affiliation to any particular ideology or group, embody it in their lives and see the results. These individuals will then share this approach with others either on a personal or professional basis as we build a community of content, accomplished, pious and stable families.
We hope you find our endeavor to be of value. If you too would like to “raise your game to the next level”, please feel free to contact us. We would love to hear from you!
Best wishes for your continued success. May Allah (SWT) protect and guide you. Aameen.
The Quran 14:34: And [always] does He give you something out of what you may be asking of Him; and should you try to count God’s blessings, you could never compute them. [And yet,] behold, man is indeed most persistent in wrongdoing, stubbornly ingrate
In our view, giving is not just an act of charity. Rather, it is the practical acknowledgement and affirmation of the countless blessings of Allah (SWT) upon us.
We, at The 360 Muslim, are dedicated to giving back to the community and encourage you to do the same. To the extent we can, our giving includes both financial donations and business services [either pro bono (locally) or at cost (nationally)] to inner city or low resource organizations that serve the needy and the underserved regardless of race, religion or ethnicity.
Locally, an organization we support (and urge you to!) is Muslim Family Services of Ohio (www.mfsohio.org), a Columbus-based social service organization, governed by Islamic principles, that strives to help families in crisis, such as the displaced or homeless and women in abusive situations.
Some of MFSOhio’s core services include:
-Rent and utility assistance for families facing eviction and/or suspension of services
-Food, yes food, when families cannot afford groceries
-Temporary accommodation for victims of domestic abuse and/or homelessness
-Medicine or medical supplies
-Janazah (Bereavement) services and training
Please join us in supporting MFSOhio and enrich your life by enriching the lives of others.
